Adult Dance Classes

​

We have a really lively & engaged Adult Dance family!

 

Every Tuesday, Friday & Saturday morning we have a General Adult Ballet Class. On Tuesdays we have a more focused Ballet Technique class & a Silver Swans absolute beginners. And Thursdays is our Tap day.

​

All of our drop in adult classes can be booked on line ahead of time here.

 

Since lockdown occurred, we've made all our Adult Dance classes available to enjoy via our Virtual Dance studio, & even now we're back on site, if you live a little too far away to pop along to Medway, you can join in with our live Virtual Dance Classes from the comfort of your own home. Yay! Do Drop us a line if you'd like to enjoy one of our lovely on-line classes.

 

We also have recordings of our Adult Ballet classes available to enjoy in your own time. If the live classes don't suit your schedule, you can take ballet class any time you like here in our on-line Dance School! You can sign up for a monthly subscription to enjoy all the classes as they come out, or you can pay per class.

Clare currently teaches our Adult Ballet & Silver Swans classes. So whatever age you are, whatever physical ability you are, you can enjoy a lovely ballet class. There'll always be a version of the exercises that'll work for you. The Silver Swans class is also a perfect introduction to ballet for our absolute beginners too. 

​

The fabulous Meg teaches our Adult Tap classes, with her super sassy choreography & funky music. Oh and I forgot... fierce tapability gained in her Tap Attack days!! We love her classes.

​

We have a range of graded RAD ballet classes for Adults too, with dancers working at a couple of different levels. 

​

Why Dance Classes?
​

Research has shown that keeping active's an important part of staying fit, healthy & maintaining your immunity. And... dance classes are a great way of doing this. Dance can even help delay the onset of dementia, aside from the fact that it is just great fun. 

 

If you enjoy the classes & the music, you won't even realise you're exercising your mind, body & soul. What an uplifting way to keep yourself fit & healthy. 

​

Dance is also a great way of meeting people and making friends, & you'll soon find yourself joining in with one of our popular social events. Prior to the current pandemic we would host a regular Ballet Brunch at the Cheeseroom in Rochester. But we haven't just stopped there, during recent months we've had a couple of virtual coffee mornings which have been great fun too.
