Clare trained at the London School of Classical Dance, later known as the West Street School of Dance, on their full time, accredited, ballet dancers' course.
 

From there she graduated straight into the profession where she worked for twenty years, appearing in West End Musicals, movies, pop videos & television, working with choreographers including: Bruno Tolioni (Halifax & Sainsburys adverts), Peter Darling (Phantom of the Opera), Anthony Van Laast (Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat & Souls in Motion) & Luca Tomassini (Rachael Stevens & Geri Halliwell).
 

After a short switch in directions during which she gained years of teaching experience in more aquatic activities, she has returned to the dance studio via the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) on their Professional Dancers Teaching Diploma (PDTD), which she gained with distinction. There she honed her dance teaching skills and is qualifited to enter students for exams in the RAD ballet syllabi up to & including Advanced 2. She has also enjoyed coaching student dance teachers studying their DDE ballet teacher exams with the Anna Morgan College in their teaching practice modules.
 

Continuing her professional development she gained her Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance's (ISTD) Diploma in Dance Education (DDE) qualifying her to teach the Modern Theatre syllabus & enter children for these exams too.
 

Clare also freelances for several schools in the South East, including the Hasland Dance Studios in Herne Bay and most recently having been a regular guest teacher for the Tring Park Associates Holiday courses. 
 

She holds the RAD's Registered Teacher Status as well as being recognised by the Council for Dance Education (CDET). She is also an RAD Silver Swans licensee & is certified in Progressing Ballet Technique.
